I am a technology leader. I’m currently a partner and CTO of Accord Capital, an investment firm specializing in the insurance industry. Prior to that, I ran a software development company for 15 years, was the CTO of a billion dollar insurance carrier for three years, and prior to all that did stints as a car wash manager, customer service representative, and even a server. I am an enthusiast for all things technology, an avid guitar player, and live outside of Los Angeles.
I like to read and am currently deep into a trek of reading a biography on every US president. I write and record music in a local recording studio, enjoy watching baseball, and spend many nights in deep end conversations with my life partner. I enjoy having no social media accounts, and about once a week consider joining the “no cell phone movement.”
I’ve blogged off and on over my career and this blog is the latest in my journey. I like to write about productivity, process management related to my new book, strategy, philosophy, reading, and of course technology. I’m currently finishing up a book on leadership, and this is the outlet to share more of my ideas.
